Grant JB Aqua Dual Water Bath

The Grant JB Aqua Dual combines two baths in one – 5 and 12 litres. It is a robust, high quality water bath for direct immersion of samples. It combines reliability, performance and value for money and provides excellent temperature stability for a wide range of routine laboratory applications. It is deal when two different temperatures are needed and space and value for money are primary concerns.

  • 5-litre and 12-litre high grade stainless steel tank with durable polished finish
  • Clean, painted steel case – maximum chemical and abrasion resistance
  • User settable, over-temperature sample protection - protects samples from over-heating
  • Fixed thermal cut-out – protects the user if the bath is accidentally run without water or in the very unlikely event of failure of control system
  • Raised feet – allow lifting whilst holding base of tank
  • Grant non-drip polycarbonate lid, included as standard – improves performance, limits evaporation and conserves energy
  • Simple dial temperature setting – easy to use and provides quick visual indication of temperature and ability to re-set dial position
  • Polycarbonate perforated base tray, included as standard – promotes heat convection and optimal temperature uniformity, also allows any container to be placed directly in bath
  • Heater mat and sensor bonded to the underside of the tank – optimises temperature uniformity and workspace
  • Removable dial – enables calibration
  • Free lid and free tray included

Accessory options

Lids and polypropylene spheres
  • AQL5 and AQL12 Polycarbonate transparent lid (blue) – directs condensation away from immersed vessels, avoids contamination, reduces evaporation and saves energy
  • LF6 and LF14 Flat lids (2 and 4 ring sets)* - with ring sets of variable hole diameter to accommodate tall vessels whilst reducing evaporation
  • PS20 polypropylene spheres* – Useful alternative to a lid, minimises evaporation and heat loss whilst allowing easy access to vessels in the bath; particularly useful for tall vessels
*should be used above 60oC

Trays and racks
  • AQBT5 and AQBT12 base tray – Required if flat-bottom flasks are to be placed directly on the base of the bath and to promote thermal convection in the bath
  • RS14H raised shelves (for 12 litre bath) – Provides two alternative depths to accommodate different sizes/shapes of vessels simultaneously. More than one shelf can be used to achieve a range of depths. 100 x 80 x 80mm (w x l x h), covers 30% of the area of 12 litre bath of the JB Aqua Dual.
  • J2 test tube rack – The 5 litre bath of the JB Aqua Dual will accommodate one J2 test tube rack and the 12 litre bath will accommodate two J2 test tube racks. There is a choice of eight variants to accommodate different tubes diameters and microtubes
