The Grant SUB Aqua 12 is a robust, high quality water bath for direct immersion of samples. It combines reliability, performance and value for money and provides excellent temperature stability for a wide range of routine laboratory applications.
12-litre high grade stainless steel tank with durable polished finish
Heater mat and sensor bonded to underside of tank – optimises temperature uniformity, workspace and it is easy to clean
Simple and intuitive programming – immediate temperature re-setting from -/+ buttons
Grant non-drip polycarbonate lid, included as standard – improves performance, limits evaporation and conserves energy
Clean, painted steel case – maximum chemical and abrasion resistance
Clear, digital LED display – makes it easy keep an eye on the temperature, even from a distance
Fixed thermal cut-out – protects the user if the bath is accidentally run without water or in the very unlikely event of failure of control system
Grant polycarbonate perforated base tray, included as standard – promotes heat convection and optimal temperature uniformity and allows any container to be placed directly in the bath
User settable, over-temperature sample protection - protects samples from over-heating
Digital PID temperature control circuitry – with sensitive PT1000 temperature control probe
User calibration – single or dual-point for optimum re-calibration of your working temperature
Raised feet – allow lifting whilst holding base of tank
Free lid and free tray included

Accessory options
Lids and polypropylene spheres
AQL12 Polycarbonate transparent lid (blue) – directs condensation away from immersed vessels, avoids contamination, reduces evaporation and saves energy
LF14 Flat lids (4 ring sets)* - with ring sets of variable hole diameter to accommodate tall vessels whilst reducing evaporation
PS20 polypropylene spheres* – Useful alternative to a lid, minimises evaporation and heat loss whilst allowing easy access to vessels in the bath; particularly useful for tall vessels
*should be used above 60o C
Trays and racks
AQBT12 base tray – Required if flat-bottom flasks are to be placed directly on the base of the bath and to promote thermal convection in the bath
RS14H raised shelves – Provides two alternative depths to accommodate different sizes/shapes of vessels simultaneously. More than one shelf can be used to achieve a range of depths. 100 x 80 x 80mm (w x l x h), covers 50% of the area of SUB Aqua 12.
J2 test tube rack – SUB Aqua 12 will accommodate two J2 test tube racks. There is a choice of eight variants to accommodate different tubes diameters and microtubes
