Instrument Service

With over 20 years experience in the service industry, the QCL service centre is based in Leicestershire with further engineers based at strategic positions around the UK. We are able to service dairy instrumentation, electrochemistry equipment and a variety of meters. We also offer training courses to suit individual’s needs. Contract service
We understand that properly maintained equipment is less likely to let you down, so we have organised a range of Service Contract Cover options to keep your equipment in optimum condition. Contract holders receive priority on emergency breakdowns and also benefit from preferential service rates.

Some customers may find it more convenient or less costly to send their instruments to our workshop for repair, servicing or calibration. The turnaround time is usually within 48-hours of receipt. For critical instrumentation, we may be able to reduce this turnaround time to 24-hours.
Communication and co-ordination
The customers' first-line of contact is with our Service Co-ordinator, who will arrange service maintenance contracts and emergency breakdown visits. We always liaise with our customers as to when the service visits should take place, taking into account your current workload on the instruments and staffing levels.
Response
The strategic positioning of our engineers enables us to deliver a quick response time to a service request. We pride ourselves in maintaining our average response time to a call-out at less than 24-hours. We can also help our customers who work 365 days a year by offering a weekend and Bank Holiday call-out service.
Support and training
Our customers come first. We understand that good customer service is not just about the supply of products; aftercare is also of paramount importance. Through investment in people, training, information technology and quality procedures, we are continually improving our customer services. As a QCL customer, you can benefit from our technical support service which is available 365 days a year. If you require information on how you can repair a fault on your own instrumentation, we can talk you through it.
This support service is of course, free of charge to our customers on Service Contract. Instrument training courses can be provided at either the customer's premises, or at the QCL Service Centre in Coalville. The course content is usually a combination of maintenance and operational training, which incorporates quality aspects, but it can be tailored to meet your specific requirements.
In addition we are introducing on-line User Guides for selected instruments.
